🥩 Ingredients
For the Koftas:

500g TORO minced beef

1 small onion, finely grated

3 garlic cloves, minced

1 tbsp fresh ginger, minced

2 tbsp chopped fresh cilantro

1 tsp ground cumin

1 tsp smoked paprika

1/2 tsp chili flakes (optional)

Salt & pepper to taste

1/4 cup breadcrumbs

1 egg
For the Creamy Tomato Sauce:

1 tbsp ghee or oil
-
2 garlic cloves, minced
-
1 tsp ginger paste
-
1/2 tsp ground coriander
-
1/2 tsp cumin
-
1/4 tsp garam masala
-
1 cup tomato puree
-
1/2 cup heavy cream (or coconut cream)

Salt to taste

Fresh cilantro for garnish
👨🍳 Instructions
1. Make the Koftas

In a large bowl, combine all kofta ingredients.

Mix gently until just combined—do not overmix.

Form into golf ball-sized meatballs.

Sear in a skillet over medium heat with a splash of oil until browned on all sides (they’ll finish cooking in the sauce).
2. Prepare the Sauce

In a clean pan, heat ghee and sauté garlic, ginger, and spices for 1 minute.

Add tomato puree and simmer for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Stir in cream and season with salt. Simmer for 5 more minutes.
3. Combine

Add the browned koftas to the sauce.

Cover and simmer on low for 15 minutes or until koftas are cooked through and juicy.
4. Serve
